Lynn T. Harpring is a 1960 graduate of Bellarmine College, Louisville, KY. He began working with New England Financial in 1965 and became a registered representative with New England Securities in 1968. Since being with New England Financial, he has earned the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and his Master of Science in financial services (MSFS) degree from American college in 1984. Lynn has qualified for numerous years and is a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the New England Life Leaders Association and Hall of Fame. Lynn was also honored with the New England Life’s Vanguard Award in 1985. Lynn has been very active within the financial community. Some highlights for his years of dedication include: American Society of CLU: Louisville Chapter, President, 1979-80 National Board of Directors, 1982-85 Louisville Chapter, First Distinguished Service Award, 1991 Kentucky Association of Life Underwriters: Medal of Honor Award, 1991 Housing Authority of Louisville: Board of Commissioners, 1997-2001, (Vice-Chair 2000) Executives Club of Louisville: Board of Directors, 2001-Present Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners, Inc.: Board of Directors, 2001-Present Caritas Foundation: Planned Giving Committee, 2004-Present Kentucky Retirement Systems: Board of Trustees, 2004-Present In 1982, Lynn and Gene Pope, CLU, CPCU, ChFC, formed Harpring & Pope for the practice of Financial Services. Today, their practice continues to grow strong. Lynn and his wife, Gwynne, have two daughters and three grandchildren.
