Tim Johnston has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services/planning industry. After graduating from St. John's University, Collegeville, Minnesota, he began his career as an advisor in Minneapolis. Throughout his professional career, his various roles have included sales manager, Associate General Manager, Managing Director, Vice President and currently Managing Partner for Financial Partners Group, Inc.

 

Tim's leadership and expertise in team building, strategic alliance relationships, and target market development in the advanced markets are exemplified by the numerous company and industry awards he has received, including more than 18 National Management GAMA Awards - Bronze, Silver, Platinum and Diamond. In 1990 he earned his previous company’s highest award, the President’s Trophy, to go along with 3 President’s Citation’s. He joined New England Financial in 2002, and in 2005 he earned the company’s Rising Star Award for outstanding firm development and has qualified for the company’s Chairmans and Leaders Conferences.. Today, Financial Partners Group, Inc. ranks amongst the most productive Firms across the Enterprise.

 

Financial Partners Group, Inc. was formed in 2005 due to a merger with Indiana Financial Partners, LLC, which was originally formed in 2002 with only five representatives. As a result of the merger, Southern Ohio and Kentucky became part of their marketing territory. Under Tim’s leadership, the firm now has over 40 associates, who are leaders in the communities they represent throughout Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky.

 

Tim is a fully licensed registered representative and investment advisor representative, and registered principal, holding his Series 6, 63, 65, 7, 24 and 26 securities licenses. He is also licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in 35 states. Tim resides in Carmel with his wife, Terry. They are members of the Bridgewater Club in Westfield, Indiana. His hobbies include gardening, golf, spending time at the cabin and most recently, with his grandson.
