Tim Johnston has more than 40 years of experience in the financial services industry. After graduating from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota, he began his career as an advisor in Minneapolis. Throughout his professional career, his various roles have included Sales Manager, Associate General Manager, Managing Director, Vice President and Managing Partner. Tim is currently President and the Founding Member for Financial Partners Group, established in 2002, and is associated with Woodbury Financial, which is part of the Advisor Group broker-dealer network.

Tim is a fully licensed registered representative, investment advisor representative, and registered principal, holding his Series 6, 63, 65, 7, 24 and 26 securities registrations. He is also licensed to sell Life and Health insurance in 35 states. Tim resides in Carmel, Indiana with his wife, Terry. They are members of the Bridgewater Club in Westfield and are active in their community with the Trinity Clinic Merciful Help Food Pantry. Their main charitable focus is F3+R, Inc., a non-profit they founded in early 2019 dedicated to funding precision medicine research initiatives and clinical trials through the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center. Tim and Terry are also IUSCC Development Board Members. Tim’s hobbies include gardening, golf, spending time with his grandchildren.
